Genient Technologies participated in the workshop titled “HPV and STIs: Prevention, Early Detection and Treatment” hosted by Jamia Hamdard (NAAC A+) – Department of Molecular Medicine, SIST. The programme was held on 5–6 February 2026 at the Seminar Hall (SCLS), Administrative Building, Jamia Hamdard, Delhi.
Genient Technologies was pleased to be associated with Aabir Bio-Services Foundation in supporting an important scientific and public health dialogue on prevention, screening, early diagnosis, and treatment pathways for HPV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
The workshop focused on critical themes related to women’s health, cervical cancer awareness, and the broader public health impact of HPV-linked diseases.
The programme was planned by Shyam Sunder Bulandi, Head of Scientific Support, and was organised under the patronage and leadership of Janab Hammad Ahmad, Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard (Chief Patron), Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard (Patron), and Dr. Angamuthu Selvapandiyan, Dean, SIST (Chairperson).
The workshop featured an eminent faculty including Dr. Vijay Zutshi, Senior Consultant Gynae-oncology and Gynecologist at Metro Hospital & Cancer Institute, New Delhi; Dr. Showket Hussain, Scientist E at ICMR–NICPR, Noida; and Prof. Vinod Joshi, Professor at Sharda University, Greater Noida.
The organising leadership included Dr. Md. Kausar Neyaz, Founder of Aabir Bio-Services, along with Dr. Mehreen Aftab and Dr. Sana Tanweer, Assistant Professors and Organizing Secretaries. Their efforts helped create a valuable platform for scientific learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Genient Technologies expressed its gratitude to Jamia Hamdard, the distinguished speakers, organisers, and participants for enabling a meaningful forum focused on advancing awareness, screening, and diagnostic approaches in HPV and STI management.
The workshop reinforced the importance of collaboration between academia, clinicians, public health experts, and diagnostics stakeholders in improving outcomes in women’s health and preventive care.
